Pearson jet landing gear issue

A private jet had landing gear issues at Toronto Pearson, causing temporary runway closures and potential delays. No injuries reported.

A private Hawker 850XP jet experienced a landing gear issue this morning at Toronto Pearson International Airport. The incident occurred shortly after the aircraft touched down. Despite the malfunction, the two crew members aboard were uninjured, and the plane managed to taxi down the runway before coming to a stop near an intersection.

As a result of the incident, two runways at Pearson were temporarily closed, leading to potential delays for passengers. However, flights continued to operate on the airport's other two runways. The Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) has deployed a team of investigators to the scene to gather information and assess the occurrence, and Transport Canada has also been notified. No timeline has been provided for the conclusion of the investigation.
